Come out and get the joint packed out for Music Motown Mogul and Motown Legend John Myers and John Myers Band on Saturday October 18th, 2025 at 2:00pm  located at 1538 Laurel Avenue Knoxville,TN.  Bringing back the history, heart, and soul of  Motown Family and Motown Music. 

As the President of Prominent Chapters Corp Nonprofit Organization, TalkShow Host, Recording Artist Singer and Songwriter with and of the Motown Family.  I CongressWoman Shebah Lane- Dyton,B.S. from Wilmington, Delaware had the opportunity to sit down and exclusively interview John Myers and Songwriter, Narrator Pamela Tenoir-Myers in their Knoxville,TN home on Sunday October 5th,2025 who are awesome Musicians and Songwriters.

John Myers starting Music Band Family included Herbert Myers,  Charles (Buzzy) Myers, James Myers, Calister Myers, and Belinda (Anderson) Myers. Music Motown Mogul and Motown Legend is the son of the late Edgar and Willie Rose Myers. Edgar Myers out of Charleston, South Carolina was a musician and piano player who married Willie Rose Myers out of Kingsport, TN .  John Myers was inspired by his father Edgar Myers piano musician. John Myers grew up in Kingsport, TN and moved to Knoxville,TN where he attended Berkley Highschool. John Myers recalls his hardships growing up in a small room with  9 siblings. The home was filled with love as his father Edgar Myers would teach him how to tune the piano and mother Willie Rose Myers would make home cooked meals.  From 1955 to 1959 Harlem in Havana recalling the movement of segregation, the war, sitting on the back of the caboose the Royal America, and being called Jig show while dressed in fine tailored suits with tails  and top hats as he called it. John Myers performed songs and danced with the style and flavor of   Cuban dancers, while white people listened, danced to their music and called them the Jig show.  Overcoming the insults that didn't stop John Myers. He later went on to become a Music sensation, mogul, heart of the Motown sound, and a R&B, Gospel, & Blues singer. Those sounds included big hits with a song  MR. Moon written by Clifford Curry and Performed by the Hearts of Stone of Savoy Records. John Myers recorded and went on tour with the biggest names in the industry. Motown Records, Savoy Records, and Brunswick Records. John Myers was apart of the  groups and touring of Cubano with the Cuban flavor. Harlem in Havanna , Five Pennies, Four Pennies,  Hearts of Stone, John Myers Band , and Music Collaboration with Pamela Rebecca Myers.  The group members names John Myers, James Myers, Herbert  Myers, Charles (Buzzy) Myers, Floyd Lawson, Clifford Curry, and Griffin.  Some of the  songs included  (We Wanna Get On),  (Ain't Going Nowhere), (Don't Dump Your Trash On Me). John Myers  toured all around the world including Wilmington, Delaware, and Halifax Nova Scotia Canada. Pamela Rebecca Tenoir -Myers is the niece of musician Carl Martin. Pamela  Rebecca Tenoir -Myers was born in Chicago  and moved to Knoxville, TN. She recalls her hardships sleeping under a bridge , was raised by her uncle and aunt. Pamela Rebecca Tenoir -Myers  became  a Songwriter in her twenties, had three children  Daphne Tenoir, Pam Tenoir, Pier Tenoir, and later married John Myers. John Myers children  Penny Woods, Nadine Parsons of Halifax Nova Scotia Canada, John Myers Jr., daughter the late (Renita Myers), and Derron Dyton, daughter (Shebah Lane-Dyton,B.S.).  John Myers and Pamela Rebecca Tenoir -Myers is proud of all their children  grandchildren, great grandchildren, and family.  Amazing interview, I had the opportunity to dance and sing a tune or two with John Myers and Pamela Rebecca Tenoir -Myers.
